Emergency Closure

We will always strive to keep the academy open but there might be circumstances when this is impossible to do so.

Notifying of a Closure

In case of an emergency closure parents / carers will be notified as soon as possible by text message and through Dojo. For this reason it is vital that you always make sure we have your most up to date contact details and you have access to Dojo messages. 

A message will be posted on our website, our Twitter feed and, where possible, a notice on the school gates.

We will also notify Oldham Council who will post the information on their website as well as notifying local radio stations.

Where a closure has to happen during the school day we will follow the same process with texting/Dojo as our first form of communication.
